Freshdesk MCP server: ask questions, get governed answers
Freshdesk is a customer support help desk; it holds tickets, agents, groups, priorities, SLA targets and customer satisfaction ratings.
Try it on your own data in a pilot.
Freshdesk AI analytics: what you can ask
Typical questions from customer support teams. Each answer shows the definition, source and query behind it.
- How many tickets were opened and resolved each day last week?
- Which tickets have breached their SLA this month, by group?
- What is the average first response time by agent this quarter?
- Show open tickets by priority and status.
- Which ticket categories grew the most compared to last month?
- Which agents have the highest number of unresolved tickets right now?
How Nexatron connects to Freshdesk
- Whose permissions
- Each person can connect their own Freshdesk account, so answers return only the records that person can already see in Freshdesk. An administrator can instead use one shared connection for the workspace.
- Read and write
- Questions are read-only. A small set of Freshdesk actions also exists; each one is previewed first, runs only after explicit confirmation by a permitted person, and can be switched off by your administrator.
- Setup
- An administrator connects a service credential (API token or service-account key) issued by the vendor. Steps: choose the source → check prerequisites → enter connection details → verify → ask. No data migration and no pipeline to build: data is queried where it lives.
Freshdesk MCP connector for Claude, ChatGPT and Copilot
Nexatron's hosted MCP server is a governed Freshdesk MCP connector: Claude, ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot ask questions of your Freshdesk data through it. Each person signs in as themselves, so the assistant sees only what they may see.
Connect Freshdesk to Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot
- Connect Freshdesk to your Nexatron workspace.
- In Claude, add Nexatron from Claude's connector directory. In ChatGPT or Copilot, add a custom MCP connector with the server URL
https://api.nexatron.io/api/v1/mcp. - Sign in with your own Nexatron identity (OAuth 2.1), then ask your Freshdesk questions.
Freshdesk connector FAQ
- Can I ask Freshdesk questions without writing queries?
- Yes. The connector is available now. Ask in Teams, Slack, the Nexatron web app, or an AI assistant connected through Nexatron's MCP server.
- Does Nexatron respect Freshdesk permissions?
- Yes. With a personal connection, answers return only the Freshdesk records that person can already see.
- Can Nexatron change data in Freshdesk?
- Only through optional actions that a permitted person previews and confirms. Asking a question never changes Freshdesk data.
- What do I need to connect Freshdesk?
- A vendor-issued service credential and an administrator to connect it.
- Is there a Freshdesk MCP server for Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot?
- Yes: Nexatron's hosted MCP server, once Freshdesk is connected to your workspace. It is Nexatron's server, not one published by Freshdesk, and the assistant gets the same governed answer as the Nexatron app.

A pilot starts with three questions your team already asks and the report you trust for each, so you can check the answers yourself.
