Observability & cloud costs

Observability and cloud costs: reliability and spend in one question

Engineering and finance both read this data: engineers for error rates and latency, finance for what the infrastructure costs and which team owns it.

These connectors will read metrics, monitors, incidents and billing exports under each person's access, and say which time window and aggregation every answer used.

Observability & cloud costs connectors

  • Ask an Azure Monitor dashboard question in plain words: alert volume, failed requests, CPU and Log Analytics data across your Azure subscriptions.

    Status: Available
  • Cloud billing analytics on your billing exports: AWS Cost and Usage Reports, Azure cost exports and GCP billing data in BigQuery, by service and tag.

    Status: Available
  • Ask a CloudWatch dashboard question without building widgets: alarm history, Lambda errors, RDS load and Logs Insights results across accounts.

    Status: Available
  • Datadog MCP questions in Claude or Teams: monitor alerts, SLO error budgets, APM latency and log volume, scoped by each person's Datadog role.

    Status: Available
  • Grafana MCP questions in plain language: PromQL metrics, firing alert rules, dashboard panels and SLO burn, under each person's Grafana permissions.

    Status: Available
  • New Relic AI answers without writing NRQL: Apdex, error rate, slow transactions, alert issues and service level compliance by entity and team.

    Status: Available
  • Sentry MCP questions in Claude or Teams: new issues per release, crash-free session rate, regressions and unresolved errors by project and team.

    Status: Available
  • Splunk dashboard answers in plain language: error counts by sourcetype, license usage by index, alert volume and Enterprise Security notable events.

  • How did cloud spend by team change after last month's reserved-capacity purchase?
  • Which alerts paged the on-call engineer most often last week?

Questions and answers

Are cloud billing exports a good source for cost questions?
Yes: AWS Cost and Usage Reports, Azure cost exports and the Google Cloud billing export hold line-item cost with tags. Many companies already load them into a warehouse such as Snowflake or BigQuery, which Nexatron answers today.
