Sentry MCP server: ask questions, get governed answers
Sentry is an application monitoring platform that holds error events, crash reports, performance traces and release health data.
Try it on your own data in a pilot.
Sentry AI analytics: what you can ask
Typical questions from engineering. Each answer shows the definition, source and query behind it.
- Which issues had the most events in the last 7 days?
- How many new errors were introduced by each release this month?
- Show crash-free session rate by release.
- Compare error volume across our projects this quarter.
- List unresolved issues affecting the most users.
How Nexatron connects to Sentry
- Whose permissions
- Your administrator approves the access the Sentry connection uses. Where Sentry supports per-user sign-in, answers run under each person's own access, and Nexatron roles decide who in your company can ask.
- Read and write
- Questions are read-only: asking never changes Sentry data.
- Setup
- Our team sets up the Sentry connection with your administrator during the pilot. No data migration and no pipeline to build: data is queried where it lives.
Sentry MCP connector for Claude, ChatGPT and Copilot
Nexatron's hosted MCP server is a governed Sentry MCP connector: Claude, ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot ask questions of your Sentry data through it. Each person signs in as themselves, so the assistant sees only what they may see.
Connect Sentry to Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot
- Connect Sentry to your Nexatron workspace.
- In Claude, add Nexatron from Claude's connector directory. In ChatGPT or Copilot, add a custom MCP connector with the server URL
https://api.nexatron.io/api/v1/mcp. - Sign in with your own Nexatron identity (OAuth 2.1), then ask your Sentry questions.
Sentry connector FAQ
- Can I ask Sentry questions without writing queries?
- Yes. Ask in Teams, Slack, the Nexatron web app, or an AI assistant connected through Nexatron's MCP server.
- Does Nexatron respect Sentry permissions?
- Yes. Where Sentry supports per-user sign-in, answers run under each person's own access.
- Can Nexatron change data in Sentry?
- No. Asking a question never changes Sentry data.
- What do I need to connect Sentry?
- An administrator who can approve the connection. Our team sets it up with them during the pilot.
- Is there a Sentry MCP server for Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot?
- Yes: Nexatron's hosted MCP server, once Sentry is connected to your workspace. It is Nexatron's server, not one published by Sentry, and the assistant gets the same governed answer as the Nexatron app.
Try Nexatron on your own Sentry data
A pilot starts with three questions your team already asks and the report you trust for each, so you can check the answers yourself.
Sentry is a trademark of its owner. Nexatron is not affiliated with or endorsed by it; the name and mark identify the system Nexatron connects to.
