PagerDuty MCP server: ask questions, get governed answers

PagerDuty is an incident response platform that holds alerts, incidents, on-call schedules, escalations and responder activity.

Try it on your own data in a pilot.

PagerDuty AI analytics: what you can ask

Typical questions from IT operations and SRE. Each answer shows the definition, source and query behind it.

  • How many incidents were triggered per week over the last quarter?
  • Which services have the highest incident count this month?
  • What is our mean time to acknowledge by team?
  • Compare mean time to resolve before and after last month.
  • List incidents still unacknowledged after 15 minutes.

How Nexatron connects to PagerDuty

Whose permissions
Your administrator approves the access the PagerDuty connection uses. Where PagerDuty supports per-user sign-in, answers run under each person's own access, and Nexatron roles decide who in your company can ask.
Read and write
Questions are read-only: asking never changes PagerDuty data.
Setup
Our team sets up the PagerDuty connection with your administrator during the pilot. No data migration and no pipeline to build: data is queried where it lives.

PagerDuty MCP connector for Claude, ChatGPT and Copilot

Nexatron's hosted MCP server is a governed PagerDuty MCP connector: Claude, ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot ask questions of your PagerDuty data through it. Each person signs in as themselves, so the assistant sees only what they may see.

Connect PagerDuty to Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot

  1. Connect PagerDuty to your Nexatron workspace.
  2. In Claude, add Nexatron from Claude's connector directory. In ChatGPT or Copilot, add a custom MCP connector with the server URL https://api.nexatron.io/api/v1/mcp.
  3. Sign in with your own Nexatron identity (OAuth 2.1), then ask your PagerDuty questions.

PagerDuty connector FAQ

Can I ask PagerDuty questions without writing queries?
Yes. Ask in Teams, Slack, the Nexatron web app, or an AI assistant connected through Nexatron's MCP server.
Does Nexatron respect PagerDuty permissions?
Yes. Where PagerDuty supports per-user sign-in, answers run under each person's own access.
Can Nexatron change data in PagerDuty?
No. Asking a question never changes PagerDuty data.
What do I need to connect PagerDuty?
An administrator who can approve the connection. Our team sets it up with them during the pilot.
Is there a PagerDuty MCP server for Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot?
Yes: Nexatron's hosted MCP server, once PagerDuty is connected to your workspace. It is Nexatron's server, not one published by PagerDuty, and the assistant gets the same governed answer as the Nexatron app.

Try Nexatron on your own PagerDuty data

A pilot starts with three questions your team already asks and the report you trust for each, so you can check the answers yourself.

PagerDuty is a trademark of its owner. Nexatron is not affiliated with or endorsed by it; the name and mark identify the system Nexatron connects to.
