Gainsight MCP server: ask questions, get governed answers

Gainsight is a customer success platform that holds customer health scores, success plans, calls to action and adoption data.

Try it on your own data in a pilot.

Gainsight AI analytics: what you can ask

Typical questions from customer success. Each answer shows the definition, source and query behind it.

  • How many accounts are in red health by segment?
  • Which CSMs have the most overdue calls to action?
  • Show health score trend for our top accounts over 6 months.
  • Compare renewals at risk by quarter.
  • List accounts whose health dropped this month.

How Nexatron connects to Gainsight

Whose permissions
Your administrator approves the access the Gainsight connection uses. Where Gainsight supports per-user sign-in, answers run under each person's own access, and Nexatron roles decide who in your company can ask.
Read and write
Questions are read-only: asking never changes Gainsight data.
Setup
Our team sets up the Gainsight connection with your administrator during the pilot. No data migration and no pipeline to build: data is queried where it lives.

Gainsight MCP connector for Claude, ChatGPT and Copilot

Nexatron's hosted MCP server is a governed Gainsight MCP connector: Claude, ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot ask questions of your Gainsight data through it. Each person signs in as themselves, so the assistant sees only what they may see.

Connect Gainsight to Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot

  1. Connect Gainsight to your Nexatron workspace.
  2. In Claude, add Nexatron from Claude's connector directory. In ChatGPT or Copilot, add a custom MCP connector with the server URL https://api.nexatron.io/api/v1/mcp.
  3. Sign in with your own Nexatron identity (OAuth 2.1), then ask your Gainsight questions.

Gainsight connector FAQ

Can I ask Gainsight questions without writing queries?
Yes. Ask in Teams, Slack, the Nexatron web app, or an AI assistant connected through Nexatron's MCP server.
Does Nexatron respect Gainsight permissions?
Yes. Where Gainsight supports per-user sign-in, answers run under each person's own access.
Can Nexatron change data in Gainsight?
No. Asking a question never changes Gainsight data.
What do I need to connect Gainsight?
An administrator who can approve the connection. Our team sets it up with them during the pilot.
Is there a Gainsight MCP server for Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot?
Yes: Nexatron's hosted MCP server, once Gainsight is connected to your workspace. It is Nexatron's server, not one published by Gainsight, and the assistant gets the same governed answer as the Nexatron app.

Try Nexatron on your own Gainsight data

A pilot starts with three questions your team already asks and the report you trust for each, so you can check the answers yourself.
