How Nexatron connects to iCIMS
- Whose permissions
- Your administrator approves the access the iCIMS connection uses. Where iCIMS supports per-user sign-in, answers run under each person's own access, and Nexatron roles decide who in your company can ask.
- Read and write
- Questions are read-only: asking never changes iCIMS data.
- Setup
- Our team sets up the iCIMS connection with your administrator during the pilot. No data migration and no pipeline to build: data is queried where it lives.
iCIMS MCP connector for Claude, ChatGPT and Copilot
Nexatron's hosted MCP server is a governed iCIMS MCP connector: Claude, ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot ask questions of your iCIMS data through it. Each person signs in as themselves, so the assistant sees only what they may see.
Connect iCIMS to Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot
- Connect iCIMS to your Nexatron workspace.
- In Claude, add Nexatron from Claude's connector directory. In ChatGPT or Copilot, add a custom MCP connector with the server URL
https://api.nexatron.io/api/v1/mcp. - Sign in with your own Nexatron identity (OAuth 2.1), then ask your iCIMS questions.
iCIMS connector FAQ
- Can I ask iCIMS questions without writing queries?
- Yes. Ask in Teams, Slack, the Nexatron web app, or an AI assistant connected through Nexatron's MCP server.
- Does Nexatron respect iCIMS permissions?
- Yes. Where iCIMS supports per-user sign-in, answers run under each person's own access.
- Can Nexatron change data in iCIMS?
- No. Asking a question never changes iCIMS data.
- What do I need to connect iCIMS?
- An administrator who can approve the connection. Our team sets it up with them during the pilot.

- Yes: Nexatron's hosted MCP server, once iCIMS is connected to your workspace. It is Nexatron's server, not one published by iCIMS, and the assistant gets the same governed answer as the Nexatron app.
Try Nexatron on your own iCIMS data
A pilot starts with three questions your team already asks and the report you trust for each, so you can check the answers yourself.
