SAP Concur use case

SAP Concur expense reporting in your own words

Ask SAP Concur expense and travel questions in Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot: approval times, policy exceptions and card charges, under each person’s Concur role.

Short answer

Concur reporting with Nexatron means asking SAP Concur expense questions in your own words, from the Nexatron app or from Claude, ChatGPT and Copilot: approval times, out-of-policy exceptions, unreported card charges and travel spend. SAP Concur is available, and each person signs in to Concur as themselves.

Example questions

  • What is the average time from expense report submission to final approval by department?
  • Which expense types carry the most out-of-policy exceptions this quarter?
  • How many corporate card charges older than 45 days are still not on an expense report?
  • How much did we spend on air travel booked fewer than seven days before departure?
  • Which approvers have reports sitting in their queue for more than five days?

Agree these definitions first

Which date
Transaction date, submission date or approval date: each puts an expense in a different period.
Out of policy
Which exceptions count, for which expense types and which policies.
Which amount
The claimed amount or the approved amount, and the currency it is reported in.
Department
The Concur employee group or the cost center an entry is allocated to.

How it works

  1. 1. Connect SAP Concur

An administrator connects SAP Concur to your Nexatron workspace through SAP Concur Platform APIs such as Expense Reports v4 and Travel Request v4, secured with SAP Concur OAuth 2.0 and following your data centre’s geolocation.

  2. 2. Each person’s own access

SAP Concur issues user-level tokens, so each person signs in as themselves. Their Concur roles, such as expense approver, processor or auditor, decide which reports, entries and requests an answer can read.

  3. 3. Agree the definitions

Finance approves the definitions above once, so approval times and exception counts mean the same thing for every person who asks.

  4. 4. Ask where your team works

People ask in the Nexatron app or through Nexatron’s hosted MCP server in Claude, ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot. Each answer shows the definition, source and query it used.
