NetSuite questions need finance-approved definitions for transaction type, period, entity, currency, and adjustments. Evaluate Nexatron against those references before using a conversational answer for a financial decision. Claude can be the interface through an approved MCP connection.

Begin with finance's reporting contract

Revenue, invoicing, and cash are different events. Transaction date and posting period can select different populations. A useful session identifies which event and calendar the decision requires before asking for a total.

Bring the source owner and the reference report's settings. Confirm subsidiary scope, currency convention, source authorization, and whether the period is open or closed. Keep material caveats next to the answer.

Questions that reveal useful behavior

  • Receivables agingShow remaining receivables by our approved buckets at a named cutoff. Include a partially paid invoice, a bucket-boundary case, and a credit in the reference review.
  • Gross and net activityExplain the bridge from the agreed gross measure to the net result after relevant adjustments. Check signs, dates, and transaction relationships.
  • Subsidiary comparisonCompare the selected entities under a named reporting-currency convention. Do not add unlike local-currency amounts into an undefined total.

Reconcile before interpreting

Check the total, a meaningful breakdown, and representative transactions. A matching grand total can hide offsetting errors. Agree tolerances with finance before reviewing results and distinguish rounding from a definition mismatch.

The available NetSuite configuration, permissions, historical data, and accounting conventions determine what can be evaluated. This page does not prescribe accounting policy or claim that every financial operation is supported.

Move from a demonstration to a pilot

Choose a small recurring finance workflow and write its acceptance criteria. A sample-data walkthrough is labeled as such and is not a customer outcome claim. A pilot should record reconciliation results, review effort, and unresolved limitations before expansion.
