Trello MCP server: ask questions, get governed answers

A card-based project management tool where teams organize work as cards moving across lists on boards, with due dates, labels and checklists.

Try it on your own data in a pilot.

Trello AI analytics: what you can ask

Typical questions from project management and operations. Each answer shows the definition, source and query behind it.

  • Which boards have the most cards past their due date?
  • How many cards were moved to Done each week this quarter?
  • List cards with no assigned member on the main project board
  • Break down open cards by label on each board
  • Compare cards created versus completed per board last month

How Nexatron connects to Trello

Whose permissions
Your administrator approves the access the Trello connection uses. Where Trello supports per-user sign-in, answers run under each person's own access, and Nexatron roles decide who in your company can ask.
Read and write
Questions are read-only: asking never changes Trello data.
Setup
Our team sets up the Trello connection with your administrator during the pilot. No data migration and no pipeline to build: data is queried where it lives.

Trello MCP connector for Claude, ChatGPT and Copilot

Nexatron's hosted MCP server is a governed Trello MCP connector: Claude, ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot ask questions of your Trello data through it. Each person signs in as themselves, so the assistant sees only what they may see.

Connect Trello to Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot

  1. Connect Trello to your Nexatron workspace.
  2. In Claude, add Nexatron from Claude's connector directory. In ChatGPT or Copilot, add a custom MCP connector with the server URL https://api.nexatron.io/api/v1/mcp.
  3. Sign in with your own Nexatron identity (OAuth 2.1), then ask your Trello questions.

Trello connector FAQ

Does Nexatron respect Trello permissions?
Yes. Where Trello supports per-user sign-in, answers run under each person's own access.
Can Nexatron change data in Trello?
No. Asking a question never changes Trello data.
What do I need to connect Trello?
An administrator who can approve the connection. Our team sets it up with them during the pilot.
Is there a Trello MCP server for Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot?

Try Nexatron on your own Trello data

A pilot starts with three questions your team already asks and the report you trust for each, so you can check the answers yourself.

Trello is a trademark of its owner. Nexatron is not affiliated with or endorsed by it; the name and mark identify the system Nexatron connects to.
