SAP ECC MCP server: ask questions, get governed answers

SAP ECC is SAP's earlier ERP suite that holds core finance, procurement, sales, manufacturing and inventory records for large organizations.

Try it on your own data in a pilot.

SAP ECC AI analytics: what you can ask

Typical questions from finance and operations. Each answer shows the definition, source and query behind it.

  • What was net sales by plant for each month this year?
  • Which 10 vendors have the largest open payables balance?
  • Compare actual vs budget cost by cost center for last quarter
  • List open purchase orders past their delivery date
  • Break down inventory value by material group and plant

How Nexatron connects to SAP ECC

Whose permissions
Your administrator approves the access the SAP ECC connection uses. Where SAP ECC supports per-user sign-in, answers run under each person's own access, and Nexatron roles decide who in your company can ask.
Read and write
Questions are read-only: asking never changes SAP ECC data.
Setup
Our team sets up the SAP ECC connection with your administrator during the pilot. No data migration and no pipeline to build: data is queried where it lives.

SAP ECC MCP connector for Claude, ChatGPT and Copilot

Nexatron's hosted MCP server is a governed SAP ECC MCP connector: Claude, ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot ask questions of your SAP ECC data through it. Each person signs in as themselves, so the assistant sees only what they may see.

Connect SAP ECC to Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot

  1. Connect SAP ECC to your Nexatron workspace.
  2. In Claude, add Nexatron from Claude's connector directory. In ChatGPT or Copilot, add a custom MCP connector with the server URL https://api.nexatron.io/api/v1/mcp.
  3. Sign in with your own Nexatron identity (OAuth 2.1), then ask your SAP ECC questions.

SAP ECC connector FAQ

Can I ask SAP ECC questions without writing queries?
Yes. Ask in Teams, Slack, the Nexatron web app, or an AI assistant connected through Nexatron's MCP server.
Does Nexatron respect SAP ECC permissions?
Yes. Where SAP ECC supports per-user sign-in, answers run under each person's own access.
Can Nexatron change data in SAP ECC?
No. Asking a question never changes SAP ECC data.
What do I need to connect SAP ECC?
An administrator who can approve the connection. Our team sets it up with them during the pilot.
Is there a SAP ECC MCP server for Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot?
Yes: Nexatron's hosted MCP server, once SAP ECC is connected to your workspace. It is Nexatron's server, not one published by SAP ECC, and the assistant gets the same governed answer as the Nexatron app.

Try Nexatron on your own SAP ECC data

A pilot starts with three questions your team already asks and the report you trust for each, so you can check the answers yourself.
