Kinaxis MCP server: ask questions, get governed answers

Kinaxis is a supply chain planning platform holding demand plans, supply plans, inventory positions and planning scenarios.

Try it on your own data in a pilot.

Kinaxis AI analytics: what you can ask

Typical questions from supply chain planning. Each answer shows the definition, source and query behind it.

  • How does forecast accuracy compare by product family over the last 6 months?
  • Which products have the largest gap between demand and supply next quarter?
  • Show inventory levels by plant for the current plan.
  • What are the top 10 items by forecast error?
  • List supply orders with late-date exceptions this week.

How Nexatron connects to Kinaxis

Whose permissions
Your administrator approves the access the Kinaxis connection uses. Where Kinaxis supports per-user sign-in, answers run under each person's own access, and Nexatron roles decide who in your company can ask.
Read and write
Questions are read-only: asking never changes Kinaxis data.
Setup
Our team sets up the Kinaxis connection with your administrator during the pilot. No data migration and no pipeline to build: data is queried where it lives.

Kinaxis MCP connector for Claude, ChatGPT and Copilot

Nexatron's hosted MCP server is a governed Kinaxis MCP connector: Claude, ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot ask questions of your Kinaxis data through it. Each person signs in as themselves, so the assistant sees only what they may see.

Connect Kinaxis to Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot

  1. Connect Kinaxis to your Nexatron workspace.
  2. In Claude, add Nexatron from Claude's connector directory. In ChatGPT or Copilot, add a custom MCP connector with the server URL https://api.nexatron.io/api/v1/mcp.
  3. Sign in with your own Nexatron identity (OAuth 2.1), then ask your Kinaxis questions.

Kinaxis connector FAQ

Can I ask Kinaxis questions without writing queries?
Yes. Ask in Teams, Slack, the Nexatron web app, or an AI assistant connected through Nexatron's MCP server.
Does Nexatron respect Kinaxis permissions?
Yes. Where Kinaxis supports per-user sign-in, answers run under each person's own access.
Can Nexatron change data in Kinaxis?
No. Asking a question never changes Kinaxis data.
What do I need to connect Kinaxis?
An administrator who can approve the connection. Our team sets it up with them during the pilot.
Is there a Kinaxis MCP server for Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot?
Yes: Nexatron's hosted MCP server, once Kinaxis is connected to your workspace. It is Nexatron's server, not one published by Kinaxis, and the assistant gets the same governed answer as the Nexatron app.

Try Nexatron on your own Kinaxis data

A pilot starts with three questions your team already asks and the report you trust for each, so you can check the answers yourself.
