  • How has weekly active users trended this quarter?
  • Compare retention across user segments for recent cohorts
  • Break down sessions by device type last month

How Nexatron connects to Heap

Whose permissions
Your administrator approves the access the Heap connection uses. Where Heap supports per-user sign-in, answers run under each person's own access, and Nexatron roles decide who in your company can ask.
Read and write
Questions are read-only: asking never changes Heap data.
Setup
Our team sets up the Heap connection with your administrator during the pilot. No data migration and no pipeline to build: data is queried where it lives.

Heap MCP connector for Claude, ChatGPT and Copilot

Nexatron's hosted MCP server is a governed Heap MCP connector: Claude, ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot ask questions of your Heap data through it. Each person signs in as themselves, so the assistant sees only what they may see.

Connect Heap to Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot

  1. Connect Heap to your Nexatron workspace.
  2. In Claude, add Nexatron from Claude's connector directory. In ChatGPT or Copilot, add a custom MCP connector with the server URL https://api.nexatron.io/api/v1/mcp.
  3. Sign in with your own Nexatron identity (OAuth 2.1), then ask your Heap questions.

Heap connector FAQ

Can I ask Heap questions without writing queries?
Yes. Ask in Teams, Slack, the Nexatron web app, or an AI assistant connected through Nexatron's MCP server.
Does Nexatron respect Heap permissions?
Yes. Where Heap supports per-user sign-in, answers run under each person's own access.
Can Nexatron change data in Heap?
No. Asking a question never changes Heap data.
What do I need to connect Heap?
An administrator who can approve the connection. Our team sets it up with them during the pilot.
Is there a Heap MCP server for Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot?
Yes: Nexatron's hosted MCP server, once Heap is connected to your workspace. It is Nexatron's server, not one published by Heap, and the assistant gets the same governed answer as the Nexatron app.

Try Nexatron on your own Heap data

A pilot starts with three questions your team already asks and the report you trust for each, so you can check the answers yourself.

Heap is a trademark of its owner. Nexatron is not affiliated with or endorsed by it; the name and mark identify the system Nexatron connects to.
