How Nexatron connects to Shortcut
- Whose permissions
- Your administrator approves the access the Shortcut connection uses. Where Shortcut supports per-user sign-in, answers run under each person's own access, and Nexatron roles decide who in your company can ask.
- Read and write
- Questions are read-only: asking never changes Shortcut data.
- Setup
- Our team sets up the Shortcut connection with your administrator during the pilot. No data migration and no pipeline to build: data is queried where it lives.
Shortcut MCP connector for Claude, ChatGPT and Copilot
Nexatron's hosted MCP server is a governed Shortcut MCP connector: Claude, ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot ask questions of your Shortcut data through it. Each person signs in as themselves, so the assistant sees only what they may see.
Connect Shortcut to Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot
- Connect Shortcut to your Nexatron workspace.
- In Claude, add Nexatron from Claude's connector directory. In ChatGPT or Copilot, add a custom MCP connector with the server URL
https://api.nexatron.io/api/v1/mcp. - Sign in with your own Nexatron identity (OAuth 2.1), then ask your Shortcut questions.

Try Nexatron on your own Shortcut data
A pilot starts with three questions your team already asks and the report you trust for each, so you can check the answers yourself.
Shortcut is a trademark of its owner. Nexatron is not affiliated with or endorsed by it; the name and mark identify the system Nexatron connects to.
