Okta MCP server: ask questions, get governed answers

Okta is an identity platform that holds users, groups, application assignments, authentication policies and sign-in logs.

Try it on your own data in a pilot.

Okta AI analytics: what you can ask

Typical questions from IT and security. Each answer shows the definition, source and query behind it.

  • How many logins failed per day over the past 30 days?
  • Which applications have the most assigned users?
  • Show MFA enrollment rate by department.
  • Compare new user activations by month this year.
  • List accounts that have been inactive for more than 90 days.

How Nexatron connects to Okta

Whose permissions
Your administrator approves the access the Okta connection uses. Where Okta supports per-user sign-in, answers run under each person's own access, and Nexatron roles decide who in your company can ask.
Read and write
Questions are read-only: asking never changes Okta data.
Setup
Our team sets up the Okta connection with your administrator during the pilot. No data migration and no pipeline to build: data is queried where it lives.

Okta MCP connector for Claude, ChatGPT and Copilot

Nexatron's hosted MCP server is a governed Okta MCP connector: Claude, ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot ask questions of your Okta data through it. Each person signs in as themselves, so the assistant sees only what they may see.

Connect Okta to Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot

  1. Connect Okta to your Nexatron workspace.
  2. In Claude, add Nexatron from Claude's connector directory. In ChatGPT or Copilot, add a custom MCP connector with the server URL https://api.nexatron.io/api/v1/mcp.
  3. Sign in with your own Nexatron identity (OAuth 2.1), then ask your Okta questions.

Okta connector FAQ

Can I ask Okta questions without writing queries?
Yes. Ask in Teams, Slack, the Nexatron web app, or an AI assistant connected through Nexatron's MCP server.
Does Nexatron respect Okta permissions?
Yes. Where Okta supports per-user sign-in, answers run under each person's own access.
Can Nexatron change data in Okta?
No. Asking a question never changes Okta data.
What do I need to connect Okta?
An administrator who can approve the connection. Our team sets it up with them during the pilot.
Is there a Okta MCP server for Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot?
Yes: Nexatron's hosted MCP server, once Okta is connected to your workspace. It is Nexatron's server, not one published by Okta, and the assistant gets the same governed answer as the Nexatron app.

Try Nexatron on your own Okta data

A pilot starts with three questions your team already asks and the report you trust for each, so you can check the answers yourself.

Okta is a trademark of its owner. Nexatron is not affiliated with or endorsed by it; the name and mark identify the system Nexatron connects to.
