How Nexatron connects to Epic

Whose permissions
Your administrator approves the access the Epic connection uses. Where Epic supports per-user sign-in, answers run under each person's own access, and Nexatron roles decide who in your company can ask.
Read and write
Questions are read-only: asking never changes Epic data.
Setup
Our team sets up the Epic connection with your administrator during the pilot. No data migration and no pipeline to build: data is queried where it lives.

Epic MCP connector for Claude, ChatGPT and Copilot

Nexatron's hosted MCP server is a governed Epic MCP connector: Claude, ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot ask questions of your Epic data through it. Each person signs in as themselves, so the assistant sees only what they may see.

Connect Epic to Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot

  1. Connect Epic to your Nexatron workspace.
  2. In Claude, add Nexatron from Claude's connector directory. In ChatGPT or Copilot, add a custom MCP connector with the server URL https://api.nexatron.io/api/v1/mcp.
  3. Sign in with your own Nexatron identity (OAuth 2.1), then ask your Epic questions.
