Collibra MCP server: ask questions, get governed answers

Collibra is a data governance platform that stores business glossary terms, data assets, policies, owners and stewardship workflows across an organization.

Try it on your own data in a pilot.

Collibra AI analytics: what you can ask

Typical questions from data governance, compliance, risk. Each answer shows the definition, source and query behind it.

  • How many assets are in each workflow status right now?
  • List glossary terms that have no approved definition
  • Which domains have the most assets without an assigned owner?
  • Show policies due for review in the next 60 days
  • Compare approved vs. pending assets by community

How Nexatron connects to Collibra

Whose permissions
Your administrator approves the access the Collibra connection uses. Where Collibra supports per-user sign-in, answers run under each person's own access, and Nexatron roles decide who in your company can ask.
Read and write
Questions are read-only: asking never changes Collibra data.
Setup
Our team sets up the Collibra connection with your administrator during the pilot. No data migration and no pipeline to build: data is queried where it lives.

Collibra MCP connector for Claude, ChatGPT and Copilot

Nexatron's hosted MCP server is a governed Collibra MCP connector: Claude, ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot ask questions of your Collibra data through it. Each person signs in as themselves, so the assistant sees only what they may see.

Connect Collibra to Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot

  1. Connect Collibra to your Nexatron workspace.
  2. In Claude, add Nexatron from Claude's connector directory. In ChatGPT or Copilot, add a custom MCP connector with the server URL https://api.nexatron.io/api/v1/mcp.
  3. Sign in with your own Nexatron identity (OAuth 2.1), then ask your Collibra questions.

Try Nexatron on your own Collibra data

A pilot starts with three questions your team already asks and the report you trust for each, so you can check the answers yourself.

Collibra is a trademark of its owner. Nexatron is not affiliated with or endorsed by it; the name and mark identify the system Nexatron connects to.
