Azure Event Hubs MCP server: ask questions, get governed answers

Azure Event Hubs is a Microsoft event streaming service that ingests large volumes of telemetry and application events for real-time processing.

Try it on your own data in a pilot.

Azure Event Hubs AI analytics: what you can ask

Typical questions from data and engineering teams. Each answer shows the definition, source and query behind it.

  • How many events were ingested per hour over the last 24 hours?
  • Which 10 event hubs received the most events this week?
  • Compare today's incoming event volume with the same day last week
  • List consumer groups that are falling behind right now
  • Break down telemetry events by device type for today

How Nexatron connects to Azure Event Hubs

Whose permissions
Your administrator approves the access the Azure Event Hubs connection uses. Where Azure Event Hubs supports per-user sign-in, answers run under each person's own access, and Nexatron roles decide who in your company can ask.
Read and write
Questions are read-only: asking never changes Azure Event Hubs data.
Setup
Our team sets up the Azure Event Hubs connection with your administrator during the pilot. No data migration and no pipeline to build: data is queried where it lives.

Azure Event Hubs MCP connector for Claude, ChatGPT and Copilot

Nexatron's hosted MCP server is a governed Azure Event Hubs MCP connector: Claude, ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot ask questions of your Azure Event Hubs data through it. Each person signs in as themselves, so the assistant sees only what they may see.

Connect Azure Event Hubs to Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot

  1. Connect Azure Event Hubs to your Nexatron workspace.
  2. In Claude, add Nexatron from Claude's connector directory. In ChatGPT or Copilot, add a custom MCP connector with the server URL https://api.nexatron.io/api/v1/mcp.
  3. Sign in with your own Nexatron identity (OAuth 2.1), then ask your Azure Event Hubs questions.

A pilot starts with three questions your team already asks and the report you trust for each, so you can check the answers yourself.
